This was the best medical visit I ever had. I, too, am a medical professional and rarely need to see another provider. The entire experience from the front office to encounters with each MA and Dr. Kantartzis was professional, thorough and exacting. It is a very comfortable, friendly and efficient office. It is refreshing to be treated with respect and NOT as an uninformed person that needs to be talked to like a child. Communication is very fast and relatively easy through the portal. Thank you for a perfect visit.

Dr. Kantartzis is an amazing medical doctor specializing in pelvic prolapse. She is an excellent communicator and takes time to thoroughly explain diagnosis and recommended procedures. She’s easy to talk to and a professional in every way. I highly recommend her! Additionally, every person in her staff from her nurse teams to the efficient and pleasant front desk and schedulers are knowledgeable and professional. This team is the best medical experience I’ve ever had. I’m an actual patient who is proud to have recommended this practice to my friends and my dear sister.

I had prolapse surgery done with Dr Jeppson this past July. Even though I went into my first appt knowing I wanted surgery, he still thoroughly explained all options. He went over the surgery in detail and was very thorough in answering all my questions. Each appointment was on time, quick, and efficient. Surgery itself was super easy and although I had some discomfort for a couple weeks, I didnt have any pain or complications. My surgery was a success and I dont have any symptoms at all now.

Dr. Kantartzis and her team are very pleasant and thorough. The doctor didnt rush me. Answered my questions and came up with solutions. I believe in her and will get my problems under control. I recommend this office to all women. Im very impressed with Dr. Kantartzis.

She is quick to communicate test results to her patients and fill prescriptions as needed. Amy follows up with her patients and is a great resource. Here is my post op update with Dr. Kantartzis. She is an amazing surgeon. I had a hysterectomy and vaginal prolapses repairs. She had explained everything I could potentially experience so I was well prepared. I had an unexpected Urinary Tract infection post surgery, I was immediately seen in the office and treated. Please be assured that Dr. Kantartzis and her staff will provide you with excellent care. Im grateful I discovered this practice and thankful for Dr. Kantartzis and her staff.

The only thing I can say about Dr. Jeppson is that the attention, care and trust he gave me was excellent. From the first medical appointment with him he made me feel comfortable and confident about the procedure that needed to be done. The Womens Center for Advanced Pelvic SurgeryAshley DPTSena NPAMy NPI was having abdominal-rectal pain and went to the colorectal surgeon with thoughts of recurring hemorrhoids. Upon his exam he said it was coming from the back area and sent me for an MRI. HIs finding sent me to my PCP who referred me to The Womens Center for a Pelvic Floor Specialist. Never hearing of this, I asked my daughter about it. Her response was how fortunate we are to have one in Mesa because not too many specialize in this area.I was well received by the entire staff with efficiency and courtesy, respect and understanding. The First visit was with Sena (NP) and Ashley (DPT) who did an amazing job explaining about pelvic floor anatomy, exercise and what our sessions would entail.I was a little skeptical at first, now a true believer, as I am pain free in the area that was bothering me.I want to take this time to thank Ashley for her expertise and knowledge.I am sincerely appreciative and grateful.Thank you,Marlene Necastro

Very gentle and caring. It’s hard to go to a Doctor but Dr K made me feel comfortable. I appreciated the care I received and all waiting rooms should feel like theirs! I felt like I was waiting for a spa day!

Opinions based on my experience: This practice is far too busy to give you accurate and personalized care if you need it. 1. They had difficulty keeping up with my records. Visit notes routinely contained errors. They rarely knew what my problem was – I had to explain it at almost every visit - even once to Dr. Stratford just seconds before an injection. I pulled the surgical report after an OR procedure and he didnt know why I was in the OR either -the diagnosis and reason for having surgery was wrong on the surgical order. Well, they erased my visit notes from the portal after that and the lawyers did their part too. It was like all these errors never happened, but I have all the documents. 2. I only saw Dr. Stratford if I was having a procedure, then I bounced between the PAs who routinely gave me the same advice despite telling them it wasnt helpful. They all kept prescribing NSAIDS to me even though I often asked, when will this be too much? Yep, eventually I had NSAID stomach acid and a miserable 2 weeks to get over it. This was 100% avoidable had they paid attention to my history. I felt like I was constantly fighting with my own provider to be heard and understood and their missteps lengthened my recovery on multiple occasions. I wish I had gone to a smaller provider where I might have gotten more accurate care. I blame them all for a much more painful and miserable recovery than it should have been. I can document all the facts in this review.

The doctor is very knowledgeable willing to answer all questions. When answering question make sure that you understand what he is explaining. His staff is very helpful with recommend this facilities to everyone

I cant say enough positive things about the wonderful staff The Womans Center has. They are always so welcoming and kind. I feel they provide great attention to me as the patient; Dr. Kantartzis is a joy to work with. She always takes the time to explain the information shes giving, answers all my questions and makes me feel very comfortable. Shes great at listening to all my concerns and calming any fears I may have regarding surgery. Her bedside manner is what you would hope all doctors would have. I appreciate that she takes the moment to know me, instead of having me as just another patient to check off a clip board. I feel very confident in her, and feel grateful to have her as my doctor.

Great office and desk personnel. Dr was a great communicator and put me at ease even when uncomfortable. Follow up when something turned up needed further investigation a little frustrating with no direct communication . I don’t have Wi-Fi. No return phone call either. But office visit experience all positive. Follow up communication not so good.

From the moment I walked into the building, I was greeted with very professional, and friendly receptionists. After being checked in, I met with the PA who was just as friendly as the staff in the front. Then I met with a nurse practitioner named Jennifer and she really took the time to explain my condition as well as the treatment course. She was so friendly and patient, she answered all of the questions that I asked. I never felt rushed, which seems very hard to find these days at a medical office. I am so glad I found this place and highly recommend it to any woman experiencing pelvic issues.

I am so pleased with the outcome of my procedure. I thought this was a condition I’d just put up with forever. Recovery time was minimal and pain was nearly non existent. Dr Kantartzis was compassionate and thorough in her exam and surgery. So glad to have found her!

Was very Pleased with Dr Jeppson. He was very genuine in his interested in my well being. I appreciate that in a doctor. Thanks. Had problems with my prescription for estradiol. Walgreens was charging me $90 for this medicine. Found GoodRX that had a coupon to discount the high price. Was also same price thru Humana but they suggested the GoodRX company.

Dr. K, as usual, was amazing. She truly cares and wants to make sure she is really helping to make her patients lives better. Having autoimmune diseases and aging brings on advanced women’s pelvic issues. If anyone is having these issues, Dr. Kantartzis is one of the best specialists I’ve been to. She has the ability to educate and offer multiple options to improve quality of life. When sharing the issue I was having my primary care doctor said if his wife was having that issue he’d take her there to see Dr. Kantartzis. So she is highly respected and appreciated for her incredible surgery skills. I will update once I’ve had my surgery. However, the testing and treatment and options have been spot on!UPDATE: I went to Dr. Kantartzis with a herniated bladder, herniated small intestines and herniated bowels. I have lupus and am on several medications. While these factors affected my quality of life, I didn’t tend to them for many years. Having surgery recreated my entire pelvic area and ability to function normally for the first time in 15 years. The surgery was well planned after several tests, some rather uncomfortable in my condition, but necessary to determine the details of the surgeries. My surgery was completed and I stayed the night due to my lupus and medication issues but was released promptly the next day. I had a catheter because of the swelling and had help at home as I am 68 and can be confused when using pain medications. But I was capable of taking myself anywhere in the house and handling my affairs. Recovery with lupus is slower and it was but the correction of all my organ placement and their functionality was A+. Later when I had a secondary health issue, Dr. Kantartzis saw me and reassured me after an exam that everything was just as it should be. My recovery was slower due to lupus and my return to my original physical condition of hiking, water aerobics and exercise had to be more gradual. However, it was the best thing I ever did for myself and continues to be life changing. Don’t wait! This is a great opportunity to enjoy your life. Dr. Kantartzis couldn’t be any more compassionate, optimistic, intelligent and caring! She’s what you’ve been looking for for years!

I felt so safe, heard, and respected by Dr. Jeppson at my first appointment! In the past, Ive been sort of written off for the issue Im seeking treatment for. Ive felt like I was judged as being too young to have the issues that Im having or those issues were attributed to my weight - which was higher than ideal, but not overwhelmingly so, in my opinion. Or I would think things were going in a good direction, and Id be ghosted entirely after the initial visit or two. Anyway, not once did I feel like Dr. Jeppson didnt believe me or judged me at all. Dr K personally went out of her way to ensure my insurance approved my surgery. She is a great surgeon and did a great job with my procedure. She is a very good Dr and surgeon and her surgical team was amazing at the hospital. Tia the PA at The Womans Center is amazing and took so much care in answering my post op questions and helping me through some complications I was having. I would send everyone I know to Tia, she is warm friendly and one of the first people I have ever felt comfortable asking somewhat embarrassing questions. I would also refer everyone I know to Dr K if they needed surgery. Their billing dept. has been GREAT in working through the payment process with my insurance as well. They make embarrassing lady stuff easy to deal with!

Very caring staff and always listen to me. The staff especially Dr. Jeppson was very caring, listen and explained everything that I needed to have done, and has a great bed side manner. My only issue was getting a hold of the office after my surgery with questions as it always goes to the answering machine and online took a day to get back to me. The office looks very nice but after surgery the couches are not comfortable when you have stitches. All in all the Womens Center is the place to go!

Everyone at the Womens Center are so kind, courteous, friendly and respectful. Very good, loved the doctor. The Next week: I developed a UTI one day after being catharized in this doctors office. I called to get some anti-biotics, was put on hold for over 10 minutes, then transferred to the PA, who wasnt in, left my number, to this minute (next day), still havent heard back. Very disappointed......I was and still am, in pain......

This entire clinic is excellent. I really appreciated that there was never a wait to see the doctor or PA. There were some minor complications during my surgery and during the recovery. Dr. Kantartzis, Dr. Stratford and all of the staff were professional and understanding. They explained everything well, and answered all of my questions. I had to call a couple of times in-between appointments (which is very unusual for me), and I appreciated their quick responses and attentiveness. I wish I could see Dr. Kantartzis for all my medical needs. She is the kindest doctor. She really listened to everything I said, asked thoughtful questions, gave her thoughts on how to approach the problem and gave me several choices on how to proceed. Women Beware**** Seeing Dr. Ryan will only leave you with emotional distress! A TRUE MANSPLAINER : Condescending, Arrogant, Mean, this is how I was treated as a NEW PT. I am a disabled woman who he told to go work out! Sobbing in his office, begging for help, he dismissed me to physical therapy and had his office treat me like I was asking for Meth or something just trying to get help with a very painful condition! (after a 2 second exam, told me I did not have a problem I was treated for the last 12 years before seeing him.) I have a brain tumor and several other problems so I take my care very seriously! I WOULD NOT SEND MY WORST ENEMY TO HIM! I ALSO LOVE THE PART OF MY VISIT, WHERE HE DISRESPECTED A FELLOW SURGEON! TRUE CLASS THIS GUY!! STAY CLEAR!

I am ultimately satisfied with the prognosis, although, I am in pain, and nothing was offered except to start physical therapy, which couldn’t start for several weeks, so after being seen I am still left to self-treat for pain. I did not feel as though the doctor was speaking to me, more so, amongst themselves as there is a resident at this location. I am grateful for the point in perhaps the right direction and am going to continue my trust in this facility.

I am a physician and went to see Dr KantartzisI had seen another urologist and had no relief of my symptoms. I had already had two procedures and was desperateI found Dr Kantartzis to be a great listener and with amazing bedside manner. As a female patient, she understood the embarrassing nature my urinary incontinence problems.We formulated a plan together.When my insurance company wanted to deny my procedure she helped me document the urgency of the problem and continues to fight for me to get what I needed.I underwent two separate procedures with Dr Kantartzis and I feel so much better. She was clear about what I should expect and how it will make me better. She also said it may not be perfect but she would do whatever she canTo help me live more comfortably, with less urinary tract infections and urinary accidents.I highly recommend this Gynecologist for any female pelvic medicine or reconstructive procedure. I messed up on “the online check in” first initial paperwork at home. The staff was extremely helpful in showing me step by step directions without being overbearing or making me feel inadequate. Was a Delight.Dr Stratford was professional, informative and showed me pictures on his eye pad of my problem and made it understandable to me. Gave me home instructions for preparation of a upcoming test for later in the week. Office is pristine and cleanly. Definitely 5 stars. And I’m not afraid to go to my next appointment either;)

I had some very bad experiences with my regular OB doc, Dr Ragaini, and the surgeon whom I was negligently sent to. My surgery was partially successful, but what I really was there for, was not corrected. A bulge remained after my surgery and I was told it was “skin” by the surgeon. I knew it wasn’t and my regular OB felt the same. Dr K was awesome and I only wish I had made it to her first, as I should have. She confirmed that this is not just “skin” per my initial surgeon, Dr M Akl. It is a urethrocoele. She was so thorough, unlike the other two surgeons I consulted with, measuring and actually showing me what was going on. If I choose to have another surgery, I will feel comfortable with her.

Want to have blood in your urine after being catheterized? Abdominal pain for days? Come here! All this & MORE happened to me! It was terrible, horrifying & so painful I screamed out in pain during my exam. I was just there for a simple exam, not in pain at all before coming here.

Dr. Kantartzis was my surgeon. She is an excellent surgeon and is very caring. She really listened my concerns and helped put me at ease about the scheduled surgery.

I made an appointment with Dr. Stratford for a 2nd opinion on 4/25/17. I was told to register on their patient portal so my paperwork would be done and so the doctor would be able to review my history prior to me being seen. I filled out a lot of paperwork and a lot of it was redundant. I filled out everything except for the medication and surgery history, because I have a detailed list for both. I went in for my appointment at 330 for my 4pm time. When I got to the front desk a girl with short dark hair told me that I hadnt registered and that I would have to do their novel paperwork again. I told her yes I did do the paperwork on their portal. Well we dont have it. I was frustrated but I took the novel and sat down to fill it out, yet again. As Im reading the questions, I could remember answering the same ones on the portal. I said that to another young lady who was working the front desk, she was super nice. The other girl with the short dark hair acted like she was agitated because I told her that I had already filled this same paperwork. After talking to someone in the back office, they gave me only 4 pages to fill out. I sat in the lobby from 330 till 450. Finally a girl from the back came to get me and took me to the exam room. She asked me some more questions and gave me 20 more pages to fill out. Keep in mind, Im there for a 2nd option. I waited until 5 and asked the girl how much longer it would be to see the doctor. She said maybe another 10 minutes. I said to myself, if hes not in here in 10 mins, Im leaving. These doctors think that their time is so valuable and that my time isnt,,, WRONG!!! My time is just as valuable!!! I was there from 330 to 510 and never did get a see the doctor!! Its so RUDE to keep people waiting like that. No one seems to care, they tell you nothing, so to hell with them. What a total waste of MY time!!!! Its not cool to treat people that way!!! I would NOT recommend this Doctor!!! He needs to be more respectful of his patients time!!! Also some of his staff need better customer service skills.Its now a week later and you would think that someone from there would have been in touch with me to inquire about what happened, why I walked out without being seen. They are very unprofessional!!!

Although Dr. Stratford was running behind due to an earlier emergency at the hospital (I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time in the waiting area), I was pleased to have his full attention and have all my questions answered during my appointment.

Dr Stratford was understandably and compassionate. He listened to me. He knew right away what was wrong and how he could help me. I left feeling heard and relieved because there was an end to my embarrassing and humiliating situation in the near future.

After a year of suffering, finally found someone who knew what to do

I was very disappointed by my appointment here. I came in early to fill out the questionare that they usually email, since my computer is broken. After 40 redundant questions and 4 hours of waiting, 2 of which I just sat on the exam table I had the feeling I was being pushed back and had to wait for the doctor to be finished w other patientsAlso I was not aware more than one person examines you here cause there are students doctors....no one asked if it was ok, they just ambushed me with it and the way it was done made me feel uncomfortable.After 30 minutes the doctor declares me to have painful bladder disease and that he cant help me because he doesnt have a PA (physician assistant) to help with the surgery.OK I accepted that, even when he told me to exercise after I came in with a walker and told him I have 2 dislocated ribs.After he tells me I have painful bladder syndrome he says he wont give me anything for pain, so I ask him to refill my ativan rx since my next dr. appointment is soon and he agreed; the staff said i could pick up my medicine at the pharmacy after 5pm.They never filled it and when i called them several times they told me a medicine that ive gotten many times with my insurance was not covered,the VERY rude nurse Josie lied to me and said he tried to order a different med called lorazepam and it was still denied...Wow LORAZEPAM IS THE EXACT SAME THING AS ATIVAN.I called her out and she got flustered and said hes not going to order it, see some one elseI would have respected the truth much more and now its clear,everyone at this office is probably a liar, and he never even called the prescription in at all according to my friend that works at my pharmacy.I got no paperwork or info about my disease and a pamphlet with no contact info for the doctor he was pawning me off onto, but she wasnt Covered by my insurance, not that dr. Stratford cares.please dont feed people the BS of oh this is what Id do for a family member.Really? You lie to them and bait and switch their medicine?Glad were not family.

I was very pleased with my visit to Dr.Kantartzis. she is very thorough and explains everything in understandable language. She went over all options explaining them thoroughly. I Definately would recommend her to my friends and family.

My visit at the office went great. My problem is the doctor put me on narcotics when I call for a doctors note I was told I could only have it for the day of my visit. Dont know how they expect me to be on these narcotics and drive to work so now Im in the Jeopardy of losing my job. When I spoke to the doctor I said I couldnt go to work if I was on him he says right you need to be off work a few days. But they wont give you a note for this. I believe if youre going to put someone on medication to where they cannot drive you should at least give them a note telling your work that you cannot be at work
