I scheduled my husband an appointment here. All of our doctors are through Northwestern. The last on the phone mentioned nothing about insurance, when making the appointment a month ago. When we showed up, they apparently only take PPO, not HMO insurance. That wouldve been very helpful to know BEFORE scheduling & showing up in the middle of a work day! Not impressed. Thanks for wasting our time!
Scheduled an appointment for today. Was not notified that my insurance wouldnt cover these labs when scheduling. Canceled appointment last minute. Not happy with end result. It wouldve helped if they said they dont take my insurance when booking the appointment a while back. They only looked at my wifes insurance, not mine.It also took about 6-8 calls into the office line to figure that out.
First time I came here was for an ultrasound appointment. As soon I walk in I was greeted by a friendly lady in the front desk then she proceeded to register me and the process was very smooth and fast. This Clinic is very nice, clean and modern. Love how they disinfect their ultrasound machine probe first time I see that. The clinical staff are very friendly and making sure you feel comfortable. They also play nice music while you waiting in the waiting area.
Excellent experience! This was the third RE doctor / clinic I went to, and the experiences I’ve had here have been so much better than any of the other clinics. I would definitely recommend!!! As a patient here you have access to the entire Northwestern Medicine organization; Northwestern Hospital and medical group is great, they understand and keep up on new technology and medical procedures, and have great facilities. Dr. Lia Bernardi is my RE here, and I absolutely adore her. She is very knowledgeable and knows her stuff, up-to-date on current technology and medicine, and yet listens to her patients and what they need / want. She’s empathic and yet very professional and skilled. Couldn’t recommend her and this clinic more! — Also, when you’re going through infertility treatments, it can be a very stressful process where you have to come in constantly, where your cycle is unpredictable etc. So it’s nice that even if your cycle mandates you come in during the weekend that the Chicago office is has weekend hours. I had issues with days/hours in this regard with a previous clinic which can make it so that you lose entire cycles. There’s nothing about this clinic or dealing with Northwestern that I can say that has been negative!
I really want to like this place, but your call service is awful and uninformed. Not to mention that I was hung up on 4 times! Use caution if you have questions/concerns in non-business hours. Also they absolutely will reschedule you without any care of your schedule and let you know about 30 minutes before your appointment. Way to go NWM you really know how to make someone going through IVF treatments feel comfortable. Shame on you!
Laboratory was very nice.
